Jasprit Bumrah was born into a Sikh family in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. His late father, Jasbir Singh Bumrah, was a business-man who ran a chemical factory and mother, Principal of Daljit Kaur Nirman High School, Ahmedabad. Apart from Jasprit, the family also has an elder sister, Juhika Kaur, who Married in early 2016. When Jasprit was only 7 years old, his father died due to Hepatitis B. Teenager Age

Like other children, Jasprit used to copy the action of a famous bowler in the beginning, But it gradually became his own bowling action, which is still intact. When Jasprit was 14 years old, he began to believe that he could become a good bowler. So he soon told his mother about his dream. But the mother could not refuse him even though she wanted to, because a few days ago, she had told the children in her school that everyone should have a dream of becoming or doing something, which they should support. It is the duty of every parent to do it. Now Jasprit was living a scheduled life, in the morning he left home for bowling practice and went to bowling training in the evening after completing school.
In this way, due to continuous bowling training and practice, he had become an influential bowler in his field. Due to which he was called for bowling training in camps organized by Gujarat Cricket Association. Soon he proved to be the top of those camps. Now Jasprit had become quite popular in domestic bowlers. So he got the eye of the MRAF Pace Foundation. It is the same bowling training institution where the world's finest bowlers like Glenn McGrath make Indian bowlers. Now he started taking bowling training from this institution and after some time also started attending National Cricket Academy's zonal camp.

Gujrat Under-19 Debut
